Cross Stitch, Model Stitch

Gustavo

My first cross stitch finish of the year was a model stitch for Alessandra Adelaide Needleworks called Gustavo. DMC threads were used (1 over 1), not sure on what the exact fabric was but definitely aida.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas to all of those who celebrate it and I hope the coming New Year brings you good health and happiness!  Here’s a little stitch from a magazine! I am running out of storage for my crafting. I am adding too much stash and not spending much (if any) time using it. I have counted at least 15 started…

Christmas Stockings

I have had two Christmas stocking panels sitting in my stash for a good few years now. I had always put off making them as I had mistakenly thought quilting would be involved and it was not long after I had made a few quilted duffel bags. I was quilted out. It was so long ago, I can’t even find…

Teeny Beanie

I am in the process of making myself a summery top made with the pineapple fabric that you saw in a previous post. I sent a progress photo to a friend asking her opinion on how I should finish the top as it has a couple of options. She was telling me how much she loved the fabric so I…

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all those that celebrate it! I decided very last minute I wanted to put some decorations up. I know, I know. I picked up these little kids crafty kits from Lidl (UK). However, I did not want to cut those patterns up (I don’t like cutting patterns in general) so wanted to find a good material to trace…

Mama Isabel Dress/Duster

Back in 2017, my graduation was coming up in the summer and I needed an outfit. I decided to try and make my own, I had Made for Mermaids‘ Mama Isabel already printed and had enough black viscose jersey on hand so started to make a toile. I went with the tulip hemline to add something different to the dress…

Howdy!

Hi! It has been a while since my last post. I did a month long training programme in January for my new job and since then I have barely done any crafting. I started a new cross stitch project but that had to be put away for a little bit and hasn’t come out since. I am in a bit…

Koala Ragdoll

A work friend is about to have her first baby and I wanted to make something special for her. Another colleague had already made a blanket, hat and booty set so I decided to go for something else. I have always admired A la Sascha‘s ragdoll patterns but had no one to make them for. I went a bit wild…
